In The Nest
The communal table, indoors or on the verandah. Where the estate naturally gathers.
Fifty steps from the bed to the kitchen. Fifty more to the field.
The Estate Kitchen
Dining at Satori is not an amenity bolted onto a stay. It is the clearest expression of what the estate actually is — a working piece of land that grows food and then feeds you with it.
The kitchen cooks to the beds, not to a printed menu. What was picked this morning shapes what arrives this evening.
The Social Heart
At the centre of Satori is The Nest, the communal house where the estate gathers. It shifts naturally with the day: quiet coffee and yoga in the morning, a long unhurried lunch, high tea on the verandah, and dinners that turn into billiards, board games, films and conversations nobody wants to end.
It is the one place at Satori designed for people to run into each other. Everywhere else is designed so they don't have to.
What you will actually eat
Mornings begin with orchard fruit, eggs done properly, and coffee taken outdoors. Through the day the kitchen moves between soulful Maharashtrian cooking — the food this landscape has always made — and lighter global plates for guests who want them.
Dinners are generous without heaviness. Vegetables are the centre of the plate rather than an afterthought, because at Satori they are also the thing we are best at.
